 Canton Food Pantry, 960R Washington St., (rear of Rodman Building) most Mondays 7-8:30 am, and every Tue and Wed 8:30-11:15 am

Bank of Canton, 557 Washington St., Mon - Fri 9am-5pm
Canton Public Library, 786 Washington St., Mon 1-9pm, Tues-Thurs 9:30am-9:00pm

Also a special thanks to the volunteers who helped with the Thanksgiving Food Drive.  We distributed turkeys, the fixings and pies to our families in need.  We couldn't have done this without the support of the Canton Community.


Recipe for Apple Crisp:
Apple Crisp
6 servings; 1/2 cup

Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup oatmeal
  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup reduced fat margarine
  • 2 pounds baking apples, peeled and sliced.
Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF.
  2. Spray a baking pan with non-stick cooking spray and place cut apples into the bottom.
  3. Mix sugar, flour, oatmeal and cinnamon in a bowl. Sprinkle entire mixture over the apples.
  4. Drop dots of margarine over the oatmeal mixture.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes until golden brown.
