THANK YOU! Because of people like you, we were able to help many, many families and individuals last year.
In 2010 we supplied 316 households for a total of 2,960 people. There were 1133 adults, 929 senior citizens (age 60 or older), and 898 children who received food. We gave out 9,534 bags of food. If each bag is valued at only $30, that is $286,020 worth of food that we gave out – thanks to friends and supporters like you.
We got a lot of donations over the holidays, but we are quickly going through them. This month we need just about everything except soup. Several organizations will be doing “souper bowls” and we will get tons of soup from those collections. If you want to do a Super Bowl collection for us, we’d suggest you do a “cereal bowl,” as cereal is expensive and always needed.
In particular, this month we’re asking for donations of
JUICE
COFFEE
JELLY
LAUNDRY DETERGENT
CANNED FRUIT
